YICGG 2018 (Youth Innovation Competition on Global Governance, YICGG in short hereinafter), during July 15th – July 20th in 2018 in Chongming, Shanghai, China. YICGG has been an annual international student event since 2007, sponsored by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in China and organized by the School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA) of Fudan University.
YICGG will provide airfare subsidies and local accommodation during the summit.
By attending YICGG2018, young people could communicate with experts and specialists in the field of sharing economy and learn from the delegates around the world. YICGG will provide a best opportunity to the world’s young people to meet and discuss issues of common interests. Valuable policy proposals developed by YICGG will be submitted to UNDP.
YICGG is an internationally-oriented student competition for advancing public welfare, aiming to meet the mission of promoting global reform and global governance. Thanks to the high academic standard, YICGG has been cited as ‘the Academic Olympics for the Youth’ among the similar students’ activities. In the past 10 years, more than 1250 participants, 312 teams from 143 universities and institutions, 81 countries and regions in total have taken part in the programme and submitted over 419 proposals.
